Can upgrading from battery technology that's well over 100 years old to brand new 2026 battery technology revive a dead engine? With a typical battery, it cranked like this. This is with the first solid state car battery on the market by LiPo After just swapping batteries, we tried upgrading the terminals, adding fresh gas, refreshing the starter, then adding much beefier wires to both power and ground. Let's clean the fuel injectors next. I do think these were serviced at some point. Checked my old videos, it was me 9 years ago. We can bench test with a fuel injector tester. Some sprayed out. Good. Shooting everywhere. Good. Good. They're all functioning. I didn't think the injectors were the issue, but let's see what the spray pattern looks like. Put them in a mixture of oil eater degreaser and oil eater rust remover. Here's the injectors all cleaned up. Spray patterns after cleaning. This is after a couple hours in the ultrasonic cleaner and running Chemtool through each injector. You can see it's producing a much nicer fine mist. Let's see if cleaning injectors did the trick. Conventional battery first. Here goes nothing. Enough messing around. It's time to get the LiPo in. Let's see what happens. Still not going. Come on, Bessie. Come on. >> [sighs] >> Let's try adjusting the timing. Timing was all the way advanced, so let's turn it completely the other way. Try kind of right in the middle. Well, that was very encouraging for a second there. Tiny bit more advanced. I'm going to put some more oil in the cylinders, heat the plugs, see if we can get this thing to go. Lucas for the cylinders, brake parts cleaner for the plugs then. I did see that coming. I just didn't see it coming that big cuz I had already dumped out the brake parts cleaner. All right. All right, that was eventful. Have I mentioned don't try this at home? Try it at home if you know what you're doing. I don't care. Is this good for the spark plugs? Almost certainly not. Plugs very hot, but I locked in because got to go fast. Got to get at this while it's still hot. It It ran. >> [laughter] >> I I'm I'm flabbergasted. I Who uses the word flabbergasted? I do. What? I I've owned this car since the beginning of 2017 and it has never run. Holy crap, I can't believe that trick worked. I'm going to put the name of the channel of the of the British guy who showed me this trick on screen. Holy crap. Holy crap. Um let's do it again. Follow to see if it will run again. Please don't hate me. These take hours to edit and I'm capped at 3 minutes. Thank you.
