this is the man who managed to capture the exact moment a bullet whizzed past Donald Trump's head in the recent failed assassination attempt his name is Doug Mills and he's a photographer working for the New York Times now Doug was front and center with a few other press photographers whilst Trump was delivering his speech in Pennsylvania and was rattling off a string of shots just as the gunman opened fire later on after reviewing his photos he was blown away when he realized that one of the shots appeared to capture the very moment the bullet went past Donald Trump's head narrowly missing him now Doug has also recently shared the exive data from that specific shot and it shows that the photo was taken with a Sony A1 using a Sony 24mm f1.4 G Master lens he also confirmed that the shot was later cropped in slightly to better show the bullet the exive data also shows that he was shooting with a shutter speed of 1 18,000 of a second which helps to explain why he was able to capture such a fast moving object
