this $49 lens was used to film Dune 2 $165 million movie so I bought one and drove my Jeep out into the desert to test what makes it so special this lens is called a Helios 442 and it's a Soviet era lens that was first created for film cameras in the 1950s it's a full-frame 58 mm F2 lens I bought my version from Ukraine and had it modified with Cinema gears and this is exactly what Greg Frasier did for Dune 2 so I drove out to a big Sand Dune that I found near area 51 and created a sequence inspired by the visuals in Doom 2 using the Helios 442 [Applause] [Music]
