Transcript
Today we are trying the most famous churros on planet earth. We're in Madrid at Sangan who were the first people to dip churros into chocolate when they first opened their doors in 1894 and they've been open 24/7 since. There are these two churro masters whipping up fresh dough from scratch every 10 minutes which feed the churro cannons which look like they are one spin away from launching the pastry into space. They also have a full-blown chocolate factory where they are melting molten rivers of thick liquid chocolate to pair with a golden want of happiness. You can choose from two types of churros, the classic or the extra large. And remember, size isn't everything. You put the churros into a brown paper bag, add sugar, cinnamon, and shake them like you've never shaped anything before. First up, we've got the big boys and dip into that cup of warm melted chocolate. I shared my bite with my lovely musical friend. I love how they're still warm. The texture is soft, a little spongy, and the chocolate heart just fills your mouth with joy. But I have to say, the smaller churros were my favorite. The outside has this crunch, and those grooves hold on to the sugar, the cinnamon, and then inside is still nice and pillowy. But the best thing is this chocolate. It's so thick, rich, but almost like milk chocolatey. I'm going to go put my swimming trunks on so I can go and join this pool of chocolate. If you can't take a date to Cabay, enjoy.
