She succeeds Rob Powell, who will become chairman, global claims, effective Sept 1. London-based Ms. Gulati-Kapoor will report to John Donnelly, president, global placement at Marsh Risk. She joined Marsh in 2021 from CNA Hardy and most recently was global claims advocacy leader. Before that, she was a solicitor and worked in private practice in India and the United Kingdom and held claims roles at various U.K.-based insurers.
