The Lloyd’s of London coverholder within Starwind Specialty, the underwriting division of CRC Group, last raised capacity in January 2025 to $225 million from $200 million previously for any one conveyance or storage location, including catastrophe perils. Coverage can be extended for unexplained contamination and shortage losses for waterborne conveyances, subject to a trade allowance deductible and compliance with specific coverage warranties and conditions. The managing general agent also offers $75 million in binding authority for general cargo, stock throughput and war risks, it said in a statement.
