Coverage options have also been expanded, the broker said in a statement. The program was launched in July 2025 with an initial capacity of $1.5 billion , which was then expanded to $2.5 billion in January 2026 . Capacity had most recently been expanded to $3.5 billion, Aon said. The facility now features up to $5 billion in construction all risks, delay in start-up and property damage and business interruption coverage. Expanded liability, cyber and project cargo coverages are available, including up to $200 million in third-party liability, outside the U.S.; $100 million within the U.S.; $400 million in cyber and technology errors and omissions; and $500 million in project cargo coverage. Policyholders can also secure up to $1 billion of terrorism capacity through existing Aon facilities, the statement said. The facility also offers advisory services through Aon Global Risk Consulting including climate and environmental risk; Owners Protective Professional Indemnity; security risk consulting; and risk and resilience engineering. Digital infrastructure has become one of the most capital-intensive asset classes in the global economy, Joe Peiser, CEO of Risk Capital at Aon, said in the statement.
