Mr. O’Neil, previously president, will continue to oversee EPIC’s regional business operations and will also be responsible for artificial intelligence and technology initiatives, national claims, private client, small business insurance and wholesale strategy, the New York-based brokerage said in a statement. Mr. Bundschuh, previously chief growth officer, will oversee organic growth, producer recruiting, sales leadership, marketing, national programs, risk management services and national specialties, among other areas, it said. Phil Moyles, already co-president, will retain that title and oversee financial services, employee benefits and life and executive benefits and insurer management and placement strategy, among other responsibilities. Marc Kunney was named chief client officer and will continue to lead EPIC’s complex risk management business while also taking responsibility for client retention, service delivery and growth of client relationships, the statement said. Karen Beldy Torborg, previously Northeast president, was named president of all geographic regions, reporting to Mr. O’Neil. Louis Oliver was named managing director of mergers and acquisitions. He will assume responsibility for EPIC’s M&A efforts following the July departure of Bill Nay, who had served as chief acquisition officer, the spokeswoman said. Mr. Nay joined investment bank William Blair.
