The changes give the NFP executives broader roles across Aon following its 2024 $13 billion acquisition of NFP. The appointments do not represent a consolidation of Aon and NFP’s operating models, reporting structures or client teams but are intended to enable more collaboration between the organizations, an Aon spokeswoman said. Mr. Hammond, who had continued to lead NFP following the acquisition, will report to Aon President and CEO Greg Case and oversee Aon’s global middle-market strategy, including NFP, Aon said Wednesday. Mike Schneider, previously president of NFP’s U.S. Central and West regions, was named CEO, middle market, North America, Aon and NFP. He will report to Anne Corona, CEO of Aon North America, and lead the middle-market segment across the two organizations, according to an Aon statement. Ethan Foxman, previously president of NFP’s Atlantic Region, was named president, middle market, North America, Aon and NFP, reporting to Mr. Schneider. Mike James, previously executive vice president and chief sales officer at NFP, was named chief growth officer, middle market, North America, Aon and NFP, reporting to Ms. Corona. Mr. Schneider, Mr. Foxman and Mr. James will join Aon’s North America executive committee and work with Denise Perlman, who has been leading Aon’s North American middle-market business, the statement said. Ms. Perlman joined Aon from Marsh McLennan Agency in 2025 . NFP President and Chief Operating Officer Mike Goldman and Executive Vice President Ed O’Malley were named vice chairmen of NFP. All of the appointments are effective immediately, Aon said. In Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Matt Pawley, NFP managing director for the United Kingdom and Ireland, will report to Mr. Hammond and work with him and Tracy-Lee Kus, co-CEO of Aon’s EMEA operations, on middle-market business, the brokerage said. Aon’s purchase of NFP significantly expanded the brokerage’s middle-market business, particularly in employee benefits and property/casualty brokerage. When the deal was announced, Aon said NFP would continue to operate as a separate platform under Mr. Hammond.
