Mr. Tassone will identify tax exposures and structure insurance coverages to transfer that risk to the insurance market, Hub said in a statement. He will report to Sumit Agarwal, managing director and head of transactional risk for North America, the statement said. He is based in Cincinnati, according to an email from a spokeswoman. Mr. Tassone was most recently a partner in the tax practice group at Taft, Stettinius, advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, tax controversy, renewable energy tax credits and other strategic transactions.
