The Series B funding was led by Insight Partners, a New York-based technology investment firm, with participation from Trust Ventures and existing investor Caffeinated Capital. The funding will be used to advance Luzern Risk’s technology platform and artificial intelligence capabilities, streamline its operations and expand the alternative risk options available to clients. “Every process we automate makes a captive more efficient to run while increasing quality,” Jonathan York, chief technology officer and co-founder of Luzern Risk, said in the statement. Caffeinated Capital led a $12 million Series A funding round last year and Luzern Risk’s seed funding round in 2023, according to the statement.
