New York-based Mr. Flatt is understood to have decided to pursue opportunities outside AIG. He was named global chief underwriting officer in January of last year. Mr. Flatt joined AIG in 2017 from Marsh, where he had been a managing director. Since then, he has held various leadership roles at AIG, including as CEO of Glatfelter Insurance Group, president of AIG North America personal and commercial lines programs and president of AIG captive solutions.
