’We wish him the very best for the future,’ says broker Tysers has announced that Paul Chapman is stepping down from his role as chief executive of Tysers Live. Chapman returned from a sabbatical in early April and has decided to step down to pursue personal interests. He joined Tysers in 2020 as managing director and took up his latest role in 2023. Before this, he spent 10 years at Integro Insurance Brokers. Tysers said: “Tysers thanks Chapman for his leadership and the positive impact he has made during his tenure. We wish him the very best for the future.” Succession John Claffey, Tim Thornhill and Tom Hodgson will assume leadership responsibilities for Tysers Live in the interim, reporting to Tom Wilson, chief executive at Tysers. His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
