Rokstone, an international specialty re/insurance managing general agent (MGA), has appointed Jamie Millane as an underwriter within its Allied Health & Human Services division. Millane brings 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, including more than seven years focused on US healthcare. His background includes underwriting specialised healthcare risks, with experience spanning risk selection, portfolio management, data analysis and broker and carrier relationships. Millane joins Rokstone after 12 years at Beazley, where he most recently served as a US Healthcare Underwriter. Prior to this, he spent three years as a data analyst at QBE, giving him experience in the use of data to support insurance decision-making. He will work alongside Natalie Mauro, who was appointed to lead its Healthcare Division in June 2026. The company said both underwriters bring extensive experience of the Lloyd’s and London markets, alongside knowledge of US ancillary and human services healthcare risks. In his new role, Millane will focus on underwriting and portfolio management across middle-market US allied health, social services and outpatient facilities. The company said his experience will support its approach to individualised risk selection and pricing across these areas. Rokstone also said Millane’s background in technology and data analysis will support the use of its proprietary technology platform, ATOMX. According to the company, the platform is designed to streamline underwriting workflows and support the processing of specialised healthcare risks. Mauro added: “I’m thrilled Jamie is joining me at Rokstone. We’ve known each other for years, and I have a feeling we’re going to make quite the dream team. There’s a huge opportunity in the US healthcare market right now, and we’re building a broad, flexible offering backed by real expertise in this space. We want to be a go-to market for wholesale brokers and make it easy to get deals done.”
