About 35 other Acrisure employees will join Howden with him. Los Angeles-based Mr. Thomas will oversee the national build-out of Howden’s trucking business, the brokerage said in a statement. Howden established a U.S. retail operation last year. Mr. Thomas joined Acrisure in 2014 through its purchase of transportation insurance specialist RSI Insurance Brokers. Most recently, he was managing partner Southwest at Acrisure.
