Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Summit, New Jersey-based Chiarello will join Amwins Underwriting, Amwins said. Founded in 1934 and led by Co-presidents Joseph and Stephen Chiarello, the MGA has 10 employees and provides commercial package, umbrella and general liability coverage to more than 4,000 businesses, including firearms manufacturers, distributors, retailers, hunting and shooting clubs, instructors and ammunition and accessory manufacturers.
