The facility, which offers up to $10 million in limits per project, allows portfolios of smaller distributed energy assets to be insured under a single program, Amwins said. The facility provides coverage for construction and operational risks, including delay in start-up and business interruption coverage, as well as construction of EV charging stations in the U.S. Deductibles can be tailored to individual assets, while accumulated natural catastrophe exposure is assessed at the portfolio level, Amwins said.
