In the newly created role, he will report to Tim Whisler, head of wholesale solutions, Americas. Boston-based Mr. Stanton will oversee excess and surplus strategic growth initiatives across the national and complex account segments. He previously was an underwriter at Lexington Insurance, the surplus lines unit of American International Group.
