Liberty Mutual Insurance said Monday that “Liberty Biberty,” the famously flubbed version of its name from a 2019 ad, is now a fuzzy yellow brand character created by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop. The insurer said the cheerful creature represents the warm feeling of getting good coverage at a good price and will appear in television, streaming and social media ads. Liberty Biberty will join LiMu Emu and Doug rather than replace them, giving Liberty Mutual an expanding cast of spokes-critters.
