Gallagher & Co. Jul 10, 2026 Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said Friday its wholesale brokerage unit Risk Placement Services has acquired Med James, an Overland Park, Kansas-based managing general agency and wholesale broker. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Med James, which has about 50 employees, places commercial and personal lines coverage, with a focus on property/casualty, transportation, garage, excess and umbrella liability and professional liability risks. Med James Senior Vice President Pam Donahue and the agency’s staff will remain in their current location under the direction of Jacey Norberg, vice president of RPS’ North Central region, according to a Gallagher statement.
