He succeeds Bill Pieroni, who left in April 2025 to become global strategy and growth leader for insurance software and business process services for DXC Technology Co . Tanya Krochta, ACORD’s executive vice president and chief operating officer, has been serving as acting CEO of ACORD since Mr. Pieroni left, according to an email from a spokeswoman. Mr. Kellington was most recently executive vice president and chief information officer for Cincinnati. He also served as ACORD’s senior vice president of standards development, information technology, corporate finance & membership from October 2007 to March 2010 before moving to Cincinnati Insurance. Mr. Kellington has also served as a member of ACORD’s board of directors, the organization said in a statement. ACORD is the insurance industry’s standards development organization and members include hundreds of the largest insurers, reinsurers, brokers, agencies, technology providers and industry associations across property & casualty, life, annuity, reinsurance and specialty lines of business, ACORD said in the statement.
