The facility provides coverage for smaller and mid-sized renewable energy projects, including onshore wind, solar photovoltaic and battery energy storage projects, Aon said in a statement. Policy limits of up to $300 million per location are available, the statement said. Coverage can extend to both construction and operational phases. The facility was created by Aon’s Global Broking Center in London, which develops specialized facilities. Demand for renewable energy projects continues to grow, Helene Madell, CEO of Aon’s Global Broking Center, said in the statement.
