The role is a newly created position, according to an email from a spokeswoman. Mr. Lespérance most recently served as president of Aon Canada since 2019 and president and CEO since 2025, spending 24 years total with the broker. Lockton plans to continue to build its Canadian leadership team and local market presence in the months ahead, the broker said in a statement. Mr. Lespérance is also chair of the board of governors for The Insurance Institute of Canada.
