Chicago-based Mr. Macumber spent 20 years at Hub and was named chief operating officer, commercial lines, in 2024. At Highstreet, he will work to expand the Traverse City, Michigan-based brokerage’s specialized industry capabilities and oversee loss control and claims management, among other responsibilities, Highstreet said. Founded in 2018, private equity-owned Highstreet has grown rapidly through acquisitions . It is the 24 th -largest broker of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance ’s most recent ranking .
