Video shared on CBS News’ Facebook feed shows the aftermath of the adjuster’s unplanned descent at a home in Gilbert, South Carolina, with ceiling debris scattered across the kitchen floor. Homeowner Joel Merritt said the adjuster had entered the attic to investigate a leak when he accidentally stepped onto the ceiling and fell through, according to CBS News. Surveillance footage captured the mishap, which left Mr. Merritt’s wife stunned as the adjuster stood up and dusted himself off like it was just another day on the job.
