Feb 19, 2026 Chubb said Thursday that Scott Henck has been named senior vice president at Chubb Group and chief actuary, succeeding Paul O’Connell, who is retiring. Based in Lebanon, New Jersey, Mr. Henck will lead actuarial operations, including reserving, pricing and capital performance measurement. His new appointment takes effect April 1. He will report directly to Evan G. Greenberg, chairman and CEO of Chubb Ltd. and Chubb Group, and to Peter Enns, Chubb Group executive vice president and chief financial officer. Mr. Henck is currently executive vice president and chief actuary, North America. Cynthia Bentley, senior vice president and head actuary of North America commercial insurance, will be promoted to Mr. Henck’s current role. Ms. Bentley will report to Mr. Henck and Juan Luis Ortega, executive vice president, Chubb Group, and president, North America Insurance.
