Stephen Buonpane was named global head of construction, global wholesale & specialty, and Danielle Stewart president of Everest Evolution, Everest said in a statement. In his newly created role, Mr. Buonpane will lead Everest’s global construction business, including underwriting strategy, market alignment and broker relationships. He reports to Jason Keen, executive vice president and CEO of Everest global wholesale & specialty. Mr. Buonpane was appointed president of Everest Evolution in 2024. He previously served as head of Everest’s casualty lines and industry practices business. Succeeding Mr. Buonpane as president of Everest Evolution is Danielle Stewart, now chief operating officer. She will lead Evolution’s development across the U.S. wholesale market, including underwriting, portfolio management, operations and distribution, reporting to Lisa Davis, head of North America, wholesale & specialty. Ms. Stewart joined Everest in 2022 and was appointed COO of Everest Evolution in 2024, having previously served as national head of wholesale distribution for Everest Insurance, the statement said.
