The San Francisco-based managing general agent said its Safe Work Plan platform is modeled on the National Safety Council’s Serious Incident and Fatality Prevention Model, a framework focused on proactively identifying high-risk tasks and conditions that can lead to severe injuries or deaths. The platform allows workers to use their smartphones to photograph a jobsite and input a brief description of the work being performed. The system then analyzes the image to identify tasks, environmental conditions and potential hazards, generating risk scores and recommended safeguards within seconds.
