Marsh, a global professional services firm, has appointed Tom Geraghty as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Marsh Europe, effective 1 November 2026, based in Dublin. In his new role, Geraghty will report to Flavio Piccolomini, CEO, Marsh International. Geraghty will set the strategic direction for Marsh’s Europe region and strengthen collaboration across its businesses. He succeeds Christos Adamantiadis, who has been appointed as Global Head of Placement and Market Solutions, Marsh Risk. Adamantiadis’ new placement is also effective 1 November, 2026. He will report to Nick Studer, CEO, Marsh Risk. In this newly created role, Adamantiadis will lead Marsh Risk’s global placement and market solutions strategy, work closely with regional leaders, and insurers globally to accelerate product innovation. Additionally, Marsh has also announced that John Donnelly will retire in early 2027. In September 2026, Marsh launched Unity D&O, a new European directors and officers (D&O) insurance facility for private and public organisations with revenues up to EUR 1 billion.
