The broker has negotiated accelerated payment endorsements with leading cyber insurers AIG, Beazley, Canopius, CFC and QBE, the Marsh unit said in a statement. Marsh Risk has also put new policy language into its primary cyber products, the statement said. Some of the enhancements are exclusive to Marsh clients, a spokeswoman said in an email. The endorsements establish a schedule for advance and interim payments and allows insurers to pay approved incident‑response firms directly. Interim payments for undisputed business interruption claims are included. The move is intended to help provide relief from potentially “protracted, documentation-heavy process” of settling cyber business interruption claims, Greg Eskins, global cyber product leader at Marsh Risk, said in the statement.
