Global reinsurance broker Gallagher Re has announced the appointment of Richard Vuurman as Executive Director, Life, Accident & Health. Based in the Netherlands, Vuurman will support clients across Europe, bringing over 25 years of experience in Life & Health reinsurance. The executive brings extensive expertise in structuring and placing reinsurance solutions, as well as longstanding relationships across the European insurance market. His career includes 14 years at Aon, a global re/insurance broker and a nine-year tenure at Delta Lloyd, a major financial services and insurance provider based in Amsterdam Vuurman’s hiring, Gallagher Re noted, further bolsters the broker’s ability to help clients navigate an evolving market and identify innovative opportunities. “Richard joins our growing Life, Accident & Health team, reinforcing our continued commitment to clients in the Netherlands, Europe and the wider EMEA region,” a Gallagher Re spokesperson stated.
