Insurance and reinsurance broking firm Aon has appointed Daniel England as Head of Casualty Treaty for Asia Pacific (APAC), Reinsurance Solutions. In his new role, England will drive collaboration across the broker’s casualty business in APAC to help clients make better decisions to manage volatility, protect downside risk and diversify portfolios. Aon explained that this move expands England’s remit as he continues to be Head of Casualty and Cyber Treaty, Japan. He stepped into the role in 2020 when he relocated to Tokyo to lead the build-out of Aon’s Japan Casualty and Cyber treaty team to meet client demand. While assuming this broader regional remit, England will remain based in Japan and focused on supporting the broker’s Japanese clients. Aon commented on the appointment, “This additional responsibility reflects Daniel’s deep expertise, strong leadership and consistent client-centric approach.”
