‘Bringing Chubb’s PI product onto Acturis gives brokers another efficient way to quote with us,’ says PI manager Insurer Chubb has made its professional indemnity (PI) insurance product available to brokers via the Acturis platform. Chubb said that by offering the product via a third distribution channel – alongside its digital eTrade platform Chubb Ignite and offline placement routes – brokers would have more flexibility to choose their preferred method of engagement. The firm’s PI proposition includes cover for errors and omissions, misrepresentation of services, failure to perform services, misleading professional advice and negligence claims. Chubb currently offers a range of products via its Chubb Ignite digital platform, including marine cargo, excess liability, cyber risk management, contractors all risks and residential directors’ and officers’ cover, among others. Another way to quote The move follows June’s announcement that Chubb will serve as lead underwriter for a new Lloyd’s consortium aimed at providing additional marine war risk insurance capacity for vessels and cargo transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
