Mr. Izzo will report to Vince Tizzio, president and CEO of Axis, and will be based in the Red Bank, New Jersey, and New York offices. Mr. Izzo most recently was executive vice president and group chief commercial officer at Everest. Before that, he held senior leadership roles at Guy Carpenter, TransRe, Aon Benfield and Willis Re.
