Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. St. Paul, Minnesota-based Sherman, founded in 1931, has “deep expertise in trucking insurance,” NFP said in a statement. The deal bolsters NFP’s transportation and logistics practice and its presence in the Upper Midwest. Sherman owners John Glieden, Kyle King and Peter Lobe will join NFP as senior vice presidents, and Jennifer Carter, owner, will join as vice president. All will report to Amanda Ruback, managing director, property/casualty, Central region.
