Terms of the deal were not disclosed. In addition to the acquisition, former members of Cybeta also joined Howden, the broker said in a statement. Cybeta was founded in 2019 by data scientists with experience in the U.S. Department of Defense and intelligence communities to help businesses predict and prevent cyberattacks, the statement said. Its capabilities are designed to help translate client cyber risk data into risk profiles to improve insurability. Howden launched its U.S. cyber practice in January 2026. The broker is investing “aggressively” in data, analytics and cyber expertise, Mike Parrish, CEO of Howden Americas, said in the statement. Founded in 1994, Howden has 24,000 employees in 57 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, the U.S., Australia and New Zealand.
