The policy is designed to help protect against injury-related financial exposure tied to NIL and revenue-sharing arrangements, SiriusPoint said in a statement. Policy limits up to $10 million per student athlete are available. Coverage is available with per-game or lump-sum benefit structures. The policy also offers flexible elimination periods as low as three games and 24-hour accident coverage. Coverage is aimed at both men’s and women’s athletics including basketball and football and can expand to other sports.
