Ms. Beggs, executive vice president and CEO of reinsurance at Everest, has worked in reinsurance underwriting, innovation and executive leadership for more than three decades. She rejoined Everest in 2021, after 20 years at Munich Re, where she led treaty and facultative reinsurance and played a key role in launching the company’s excess and surplus lines insurance platform. She previously worked at Everest from 1993 to 2002. Ms. Beggs was a Business Insurance 2023 Women to Watch honoree. Ms. Beggs will be honored by APIW at an awards ceremony on April 21 in New York.
