‘Arch maintains a clear strategy, strong culture and dynamic vision for the future and I look forward to working closely with my fellow board members,’ says new chair of board Arch Insurance International has appointed Kendra Felisky as chair of Arch Insurance UK (AIUK) and Arch Managing Agency (AMAL) following the retirement of Patrick Storey. Felisky brings more than two decades of experience spanning actuarial, risk management and board governance roles. She is an experienced independent non-executive director who served both boards since 2021, taking on this new role as Arch continues its growth. Her career has included senior positions at Deloitte, where she helped lead the firm’s general insurance actuarial practice, and at Travelers, where she served as chief risk officer. Felisky said: “Arch maintains a clear strategy, strong culture and dynamic vision for the future and I look forward to working closely with my fellow board members, leadership team and colleagues across the business as we continue to build on these strong foundations.” Hugh Sturgess, Arch Insurance International chief executive, added: “Her extensive knowledge of Arch, considerable leadership experience and strong technical expertise make her ideally positioned to guide the boards through the next phase of our growth.” Board changes The appointment marks a significant governance transition for the insurer, with Storey stepping down after nine years as chair.
