Moller-Maersk AS is keeping cargo restrictions and emergency surcharges in place across the Persian Gulf despite a recent U.S.-Iran agreement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, gCaptain reported. The firm said the situation in the Middle East remains volatile and noted that some insurers have reduced or withdrawn coverage for shipments transiting the Red Sea, Gulf of Oman and Persian Gulf.
