The report, based on a survey of 3,500 global business leaders, found that 33% of respondents are increasing cybersecurity spending and 35% are investing in artificial intelligence to improve resilience. About 82% of respondents said they feel prepared for cyber risks and about three-quarters believe they could recover financially from an attack. Cyber incidents are increasingly affecting operations, supply chains and regulatory exposures, the report said. Meanwhile, a report by Resilience, also released Tuesday, said the manufacturing sector was hit in about one-quarter of global cyberattacks in 2025. Ransomware accounted for about 90% of the cyber managing general agent’s incurred losses, despite representing a smaller share of incidents.
