The newly created role is intended to support the risk management needs of private-equity clients, Axa XL said in a statement. Ms. Gillmon will lead Axa XL’s private-equity client engagement across the Americas and serve as the primary contact for private-equity clients, the statement said. She will work with underwriting teams to provide insurance coverages to private-equity firms for their portfolio companies. Ms. Gillmon joined Axa XL in 2022 from Chubb, where she was global client executive. Prior to that, she spent 16 years at Marsh. She will be working with Chief Underwriting Officer, Private Equity, John Liantonio, to build business in the private – equity space, Matt O’Malley, Axa XL’s chief client and distribution officer in the Americas, said in the statement.
