She will report to Global Risk Solutions President Matthew Moore and succeeds Phil Hobbs, who was recently named president of underwriting for GRS. Singapore-based Ms. Turkes will lead the business across commercial insurance internationally as well as retail markets in Asia. Ms. Turkes previously was chief operating officer for the division. She joined Liberty Mutual in 2006 as chief financial officer in Turkey and held various senior leadership positions in Asia before being named president of its Asia retail businesses.
