Gallagher & Co. Aug 27, 2026 Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. on Wednesday named Kyle G. Koreyva controller and chief accounting officer, effective Oct. 1. Mr. Koreyva will succeed Richard C. Cary, 63, who will step down from the roles Sept. 30 as part of his planned retirement in 2028, the brokerage said in a regulatory filing. Mr. Cary, Gallagher’s controller since 1997 and chief accounting officer since 2001, will remain with the brokerage as corporate vice president-accounting and assist with the transition until his retirement. Mr. Koreyva joined Gallagher through its $13.8 billion acquisition of AssuredPartners in August 2025 and most recently served as vice president, accounting. He had been chief accounting officer at AssuredPartners since June 2024. Previously, he was vice president, finance and divisional chief financial officer of Westchester, a Chubb unit, from 2020 to 2024. He earlier spent 14 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
