Mr. Richème, based in Paris, joined Axa Corporate Solutions in 2008 and most recently was chief underwriting officer, property, energy and construction for Asia Pacific and Europe at Axa XL. He will lead global underwriting strategy for property, construction and energy businesses, Axa XL said. In a statement, Libby Benet, global chief underwriting officer, said clients are “navigating an increasingly complex risk environment shaped by climate volatility, evolving supply chains, digital infrastructure expansion and changes in the global energy landscape.” Axa XL last week named Ms. Benet CEO of a new business unit focused on prevention services and said the search is underway for a replacement global CUO.
