Williams joined the Portland, Oregon-based SAIF’s leadership team as vice president of human resources in 2019 and became chief operating officer in 2021. He will assume the new role on Monday while the insurer searches for a permanent president and CEO. SAIF said Mr. Terhune is moving to a new position outside of the company but did not elaborate.
