He succeeds Janice Kowell, who had held the role since 2023 . She will remain part of the senior executive team, Marsh said. Mr. Brito, who is based in New York, will report to Michael Pellegrini, head of specialty for the U.S. and Canada for Marsh Risk. Mr. Brito joined Marsh in 2012 and most recently was marine, cargo and logistics practice leader for Canada and the U.S. East zone for Marsh Risk. He was a 2024 Business Insurance Break Out Award winner .
