In the newly created role, he will help expand the use of artificial intelligence-based sales tools across the brokerage, Hub said. “AI is a force multiplier for serving clients better, amplifying what our producers already do well by helping them anticipate risk, respond faster, and bring sharper insights to every client and prospect conversation,” Marc Cohen, Hub president and CEO, said in a statement. Mr. Mitha will work with producers across Hub’s commercial and personal lines, private client, retirement and private wealth, and employee benefits businesses in the United States and Canada. He will also work with the brokerage’s AI and automation team to track adoption of AI tools and their effect on new business generation and organic growth. He will also support broader use of Anthropic’s Claude artificial intelligence platform, which was deployed to employees in the fourth quarter of 2025, Hub said. Mr. Mitha most recently served as chief sales and innovation officer for Hub Canada Employee Benefits and Retirement, where he oversaw the integration of insurance technology capabilities. He joined Hub in 2018 through its acquisition of Canadian employee benefits consultancy ES3 Advisory. Before that, he was an underwriter and co-founded an insurtech company focused on artificial intelligence and data analytics.
