Mr. McGivney will lead Marsh’s acquisition strategy and key initiatives, supporting President and CEO John Doyle and the executive committee, which will continue to report to Mr. Doyle. Mr. McGivney was appointed senior vice president and CFO of Marsh in 2016 and before that held several senior roles, including senior vice president of corporate finance, chief operating officer and CFO of Mercer and CFO of Marsh Risk. He joined the company in 2007. Separately, Marsh said it appointed Janelle Griffith as global logistics practice leader for Marsh Risk. New York-based Ms. Griffith will retain oversight of the U.S. and Canada logistics practice in addition to her global responsibilities in the newly created role, Marsh said. Before joining Marsh in 2021, Ms. Griffith held leadership roles at Kuehne + Nagel and Hapag-Lloyd.
