Pierce Agents and Brokers , Energy EPIC , Marsh & McLennan Jun 2, 2026 EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants on Tuesday promoted James R. Pierce to chairman within its national natural resources practice. Mr. Pierce will remain active serving clients in the energy market and recruiting to strengthen the practice, EPIC said in a statement. He joined EPIC as senior adviser in June 2025, the statement said. Mr. Pierce had previously served as chairman, global energy and power at Marsh Specialty and chairman of JLT Specialty USA. EPIC said its natural resources practice will remain focused on the upstream and midstream sectors while expanding its renewable energy capabilities nationwide with future plans to broaden its capabilities into downstream and power-related business lines.
